Cross-stitch pictures and tapestries
We specialise in lacing and framing cross stitch and tapestries. Because Norma is an experienced cross-stitcher herself, she understand the amount of time and effort that goes into your finished work of art, and will treat it with the respect and  care it deserves.
Your work will be properly stretched and laced onto a rigid foam board. In the case of tapestries it will probably need to be blocked first as most tapestries are no longer square when finished. Blocking is a process that restores their shape. We do not cut, glue or damage your work in any way, and it could always be removed from the frame back to its original state should you wish to do so at some time in the future.
Lacing onto foamboard
If you have cross-stitch pictures or tapestries that are gathering dust in drawers, why not let us frame them for you so that you can display them for all to see. Use the on-line quotation form to give us a few details of your picture and we get back to you with a free quotation. It will probably cost a lot less than you think. Then just send your pictures (carefully packed) to us by post. We will contact you when they arrive to discuss any matters relating to the framing and we will return them to you ready to hang usually within 14 to 21 days. If your cross stitch has become a little grubby through handling, please first wash it carefully yourself in warm water with a soap powder not containing any detergent in case any of the threads have non fast colours.
